  • Overview

    Element has an opportunity for a Chain of Custody and Supply Chain Certification Officer to join our team based in High Wycombe. This is a great opportunity to work with one of the fastest growing companies in the global Testing, Inspection & Certification sector.


    To conduct impartial reviews of all audit reports and related technical information in order to make a technical evaluation of the content in meeting the requirements of the relevant standard and make a judgement to endorse the recommendation by the auditor.


    • Review audit reports, non-conformities and contract reviews for technical compliance
    • Respond to and resolve promptly all network office enquiries relating to certification matters
    • Attain, maintain and apply a defined level of technical competence in agreed areas to ensure you can make consistent technical judgements at all times
    • Maintain professional work standards based on a balance of quality of decision making, output and timelines
    • Work with your manager, colleagues and team to increase knowledge of role and continually improve technical decision making
    • Provide support for Accreditation body audits as required
    • Because of the changing nature of the business, you will, from time to time, be required to undertake other activities of a similar nature that fall within your capabilities as directed by your manager

    Skills / Qualifications

    • Good communication skills, both written and oral with all stakeholders
    • Excellent interpersonal skills
    • Strong computer skills
    • Dependable, organised and with the ability to prioritise to produce consistently high quality / quantity of work either working alone or through other stakeholders
    • Must hold an IRQA training qualification as an ISO 9001 lead Auditor
    • Detailed knowledge of relevant certification standards for Chain of Custody and Supply Chain Cert                                                                                                                   
    • A good understanding of the auditing and accreditation processes
