  • Overview

    Element has an opportunity for an Administrator to join the team in Luton.

    Responsibilities

    • Ensuring that the sales lists are kept up to date to ensure the southern asbestos team achieves the monthly budget target
    • Liaising with clients with booking in work, updating them on report statuses, results
    • Generating quotes using CRM systems
    • Requesting information for quotes from clients 
    • Liaising with the site teams regarding scheduling, report reviewing and assisting the Operations Manager
    • Providing administrative support within a small team
    • Raising of purchase order numbers and dealing with suppliers
    • Production of technical reports
    • Monitoring of timekeeping, holidays and sickness and related reporting
    • Using systems effectively to ensure maximum efficiency
    • General administration duties such as answering the phone, filing and reception cover
    • Providing labortory support during busy periods or annual leave cover
    • Delivering prompt and accurate results in support of our survey programmes and testing services
    • Analysing samples to detect asbestos using polarised light microscopy
    • Occasional client liaison on status of orders and test progress
    • Completing ad hoc tasks as required

    Skills / Qualifications

    • Good general education including English and Maths
    • Significant experience providing administrative support in a busy office
    • Experience of Excel spreadsheets and Outlook
    • Experience within the asbestos industry is advantageous
    • Training will be provided to achieve BOHS P401 bulk analysis training
