  • Overview

    Element has an opportunity for a Nondestructive RT Level 1 Technician to join our growing team. To conduct radiographic testing in accordance with company approved procedures while paying close attention to safety and project timelines.

    Responsibilities

    • Conduct radiography tests in accordance with written company procedures
    • Prepare test specimens, sets up and adjusts test equipment
    • Film interpretation of casting and weld
    • Technique development
    • Interpret codes and specifications
    • Maintain related test equipment and tools in good working condition

    Skills / Qualifications

    • Minimum of 1-3 years of experience and/or training in RT Non-Destructive Testing
    • Familiar with testing codes and standards
    • Experience in interpreting testing procedures and requirements.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
    • Availability, flexibility, and maturity to represent the company at a broad range of events/projects in the community 
    • Ability to remain calm when faced with mounting pressure related to deadlines and multiple priorities. 
    • Well developed oral and written communication skills to meet a variety of communication needs

     

    This position requires access to export-controlled commodities, technical data, technology, software, and services. U.S. citizenship, U.S. legal permanent resident status, protected person status under 8 U.S.C. § 1324b(a)(3), or U.S. Government export authorization is required.
