Are you a detail-oriented quality professional who thrives on process improvement, compliance, and making a real impact? Element has an exciting opportunity for a Quality Coordinator to join our Anaheim materials testing laboratory. 

 

This is more than a quality support role. It's an opportunity to take ownership of a critical function and grow into the subject matter expert responsible for maintaining and advancing our quality systems. Compensation: $33.00-$36.00 per hour

 

Responsibilities

As our Quality Coordinator, you'll play a key role in supporting and maintaining the laboratory's quality management system. Working closely with site leadership and technical teams, you'll:

  • Manage daily quality assurance and quality system activities
  • Support and maintain compliance with ISO 17025 and ISO 9001 standards
  • Coordinate internal and external audits
  • Assist with corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs)
  • Monitor quality metrics, documentation, and records
  • Help drive continuous improvement initiatives across the laboratory
  • Collaborate with technical, operational, and management teams to ensure quality requirements are met
  • Serve as a trusted resource for quality-related questions and processes

Over time, you'll have the opportunity to take increasing ownership of the site's quality system and become the primary quality point of contact.

Skills / Qualifications

  • Experience working within a quality-focused environment
  • Knowledge of ISO 17025 and/or ISO 9001 standards
  • Experience supporting audits, documentation, or quality systems
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and follow-up abilities
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Ideal background:

  • Approximately 3+ years of quality-related experience
  • Aerospace, manufacturing, laboratory, engineering, or technical industry experience is a plus
  • Candidates with broader quality backgrounds are encouraged to apply, even if they have not worked directly with ISO 17025
