Element has an opportunity for a Project Coordinator at our Fairfield, OH site. The primary function of the Project Coordinator is to maximize sales opportunities by creating a world-class first impression for customers who contact Element through the sales inquiry website forms and telephone numbers.
As the first point of contact for global customers, the Project Coordinator plays a vital role in the Element sales process. The position consists of multiple responsibilities which help ensure a centralized, consistent customer experience. This includes professionally answering incoming calls and emails from internal and external customers, asking sales-minded questions to pre-qualify incoming requests, posing technical questions to further clarify customer requirements, and efficiently assigning incoming leads to the Element location most capable of providing services.
Salary: $20- 25$/hr DOE
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers and prospects, supporting the sales process through qualification, relationship development, needs assessment, solution presentation, quotation support, and account growth.
• Proactively engage customers through phone, email, web conferencing, and web inquiries to identify requirements, communicate Element's value proposition, and deliver exceptional customer service.
• Build, maintain, and strengthen customer relationships by acting as a liaison between customers and internal teams, ensuring customer needs are understood, addressed, and resolved promptly.
• Manage quotation and inquiry activities for standard products and services, including gathering technical requirements, obtaining pricing and lead times, preparing quotes, processing sales invoices, and providing status updates.
• Utilize knowledge of Element's services, capabilities, and laboratory network to route customer requests to the appropriate business units and ensure efficient service delivery.
• Support revenue growth and achievement of sales goals through account penetration, opportunity conversion, and identification of current and future customer needs.
• Coordinate with sales, laboratory, quality, operations, and other cross-functional teams to resolve customer concerns, handle service issues, and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Follow up on customer requests, inquiries, complaints, shipping and delivery information, and other service-related matters to ensure timely resolution and a positive customer experience.
• Maintain accurate customer records and activity documentation within Dynamics CRM, including contact management, call logs, opportunity tracking, duplicate removal, and data updates.
• Develop and maintain a strong working knowledge of Element's service offerings, capabilities, processes, and industry applications through ongoing training and professional development.
• Assist with customer support, marketing initiatives, and other related activities that enhance customer engagement and business performance.
• Ensure compliance with all company policies, ethical standards, trade compliance requirements, and applicable safety, environmental, and corporate governance regulations.
