Element has an opportunity for a Test Technician to join our rapidly expanding team. As a member of the operations team in one of the various laboratories across Element, the Associate Test Technician position performs a variety of routine and non-routine testing assignments within the department assigned and insures timely and accurate test results under direct supervision.  The technician positions must be proficient in a number of core business skills including but not limited to compliance to established safety rules, code of conduct, and company policies and procedures.

• Install, test, and maintain instrumentation and monitoring equipment on site.
• Carry out calibration, inspection, and troubleshooting of instruments and sensors.
• Collect and record monitoring data accurately for project requirements.
• Assist engineers and surveyors in instrumentation and monitoring works.
• Prepare daily reports and maintenance records.
• Ensure all work complies with safety and project requirements.
• Coordinate with site teams and support urgent monitoring activities when required.

• Basic knowledge of instrumentation and monitoring equipment
• Ability to install and test sensors and monitoring devices
• Able to troubleshoot simple technical issues on site
• Able to read basic drawings and instructions
• Basic computer skills (Excel, Word)
• Good understanding of safety rules on a construction site
• Able to work in an outdoor, tunnel, or confined space environment
• Willing to work overtime or night shift when required
• Experience in construction or monitoring work is an advantage
