Overview

Element has an opportunity for an NDT Technician Trainee. In this role, you would perform routine tasks under close supervision of Level II and Level III technicians while earning OJT hours. Work would be checked in progress and upon completion.

 

Salary: $22- $28/hr DOE 

 

Responsibilities

• Assist Level II technicians in their roles and responsibilities
• Assist production workflow while earning OJT hours in various test methods
• Assist in processing parts, including inspection setup and repackaging
• Working within ISO 17025 and Nadcap quality systems and meeting those evaluation requirements
• Work in a team setting to meet customer needs and project deadlines

Skills / Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required
• Two years of technical / vocational training in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, customer testing specifications, and procedure manuals
• Must have valid Drivers License, or ability to obtain prior to beginning employment
• Availability, flexibility, and maturity to represent the company at a broad range of events / projects in the community, with customers and within the company
