Overview

We are seeking a qualified and motivated Radiographer (RT) to join our inspection team supporting the aerospace and casting industries.
Candidates must hold a current Radiographic Testing (RT) Level 1 or Level 2 certification in accordance with NAS410 / EN4179 or have equivalent practical experience.
You will work within a UKAS and NADCAP-accredited environment, performing high-integrity inspections on critical components to the highest quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Perform Radiographic Testing (RT) in line with NAS410 / EN4179 and customer specifications.
  • Set up, expose, and process film and/or digital (DR/CR) radiographs
  • Level 2 personnel: interpret radiographs and evaluate results against acceptance criteria; prepare and verify technique sheets
  • Level 1 personnel: carry out exposures and assist in image evaluation under Level 2/3 supervision
  • Maintain accurate inspection records, traceability documentation, and equipment calibration
  • Ensure compliance with IRR17 and company radiation protection procedures
  • Contribute to a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Skills / Qualifications

  • Certified Radiographic Testing (RT) Level 1 or Level 2 to NAS410 / EN4179 (film and/or digital)
  • Understanding of NDT principles, radiographic techniques, and radiation safety
  • Strong attention to detail, good record keeping, and ability to follow technical procedures
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
