Element has an opportunity for an Environmental Test Engineer to support and lead testing programs for components and systems developed for key account projects in our Burton, MI laboratory. In this role, you will design and execute test plans to evaluate product performance, durability, and reliability under a range of thermal, vibration, humidity, and environmental conditions, ensuring compliance with customer specifications and industry standards. You will also be responsible for analyzing data, preparing detailed technical reports, and collaborating closely with clients and internal teams to deliver high-quality, actionable results.
The ideal candidate will bring experience in developing electrical circuits, automating test stands, and programming in Python or equivalent software to enhance test efficiency and capability. This position is part of a strategic investment in expanding Element’s environmental testing services and offers a unique opportunity for a hands-on, mid-level engineer to take ownership of projects in a growing and innovative field.
