Element has an opportunity for a certified NDT Ultrasonic Level II Inspector (Immersion) to perform immersion ultrasonic inspections on aerospace components in accordance with applicable specifications, procedures, and customer requirements. The Level II Inspector will be responsible for setup, calibration, and operation of immersion ultrasonic equipment, selection of appropriate techniques, and interpretation and evaluation of inspection results to determine conformance and detect discontinuities.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical knowledge of ultrasonic theory, transducer selection, sound beam characteristics, and immersion system operation, as well as familiarity with aerospace materials and manufacturing processes. The position requires strict adherence to approved NDT procedures, safety standards, and quality system requirements under NAS 410 or equivalent certification standards.
Team Environment:
The Level II Inspector will operate as part of a dedicated inspection cell team, collaborating closely with other inspectors, technicians, and production personnel to ensure efficient workflow, consistent quality, and timely delivery of inspected components. This team-based structure promotes cross-functional support, shared accountability, and continuous improvement within the inspection cell.
Salary: $32- $45/hr DOE
