Element has an opportunity for an Order Entry Technician at our Fairfield, OH location to perform order entry of incoming test requests and other scheduled tasks under direction of Office Manager or detailed procedures. Perform technical review of client PO’s to ensure compliance.
Salary: $20- $25/hr DOE
•Receive incoming shipments & assist with customer pickup and return of samples
•Review customer PO’s, and enter work orders into the LIMS system
•Verify that orders received include all necessary paperwork to allow for proper testing of samples
•Contact customers to obtain additional test detail
•Create machining routers per Quality system
•Create test packets per Quality system
•Work with Production and Laboratory personnel to expedite work
•Ensure that requirements for subcontracting of work are met and generate required documentation, upon request
•Alert staff to expedite/ rush work and follow-up on issues
•Interact with internal departments on questions or issues related to particular projects
•Assists with coordination of production, quality and process improvements
•Ensures all work is performed in accordance with company safety and quality policies and procedures and regulatory agency regulations
•Other duties as assigned by supervisor or lab management

•High school diploma required
•Completion of a two-year technical program or equivalent combination of education and work experience is a plus.
•Relevant experience in logistics, customer service or a material testing or manufacturing environment desired •Ability to interpret machining drawings
•Must be proficient with excel, pdf, Microsoft access and other computer programs.
This position requires access to export-controlled commodities, technical data, technology, software, and services.
