Overview

Element has an opportunity for a Planner/Expeditor to join our rapidly expanding team. This individual will plan and schedule all open orders within appointed departments. Answer customer status phone calls and emails. Expedite orders to meet customer demands. Communication with customers to update completion dates and communicate with other planner to organize multi-process orders to ensure smooth production flow.

 

Salary: $24- $26/hr DOE 

 

Responsibilities

  • Data entry and computer skills are a must for daily planning needs.
  • Premium customer service, both phone and email.
  • Contact customers with incoming issues (damage, quantities, etc).
  • Organize and schedule multiple jobs daily to ensure customer demands are being met.
  • Excel based schedules must be made daily to ensure processors has their task for the day.
  • Rearrange and prioritize incoming PO’s for contract review.
  • Follow through on all promised order to ensure product ships.
  • Work with Shipping to make sure all product ships on time.
    Converse with other planner to ensure multi-process jobs shipping from other departments on time.
  • Interact with customers during visits, explain any information needed.
