Overview

Element is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Customer Service Administrator to support our quoting and sales process. This individual will be responsible for preparing and sending quotes to customers, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring timely follow-up. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

 

Salary: $21- $23/hr DOE 

 

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and send accurate and timely quotes to customers based on pricing guidelines, part specifications, and scope of work.
  • Review customer RFQs (Request for Quotes) and interpret requirements to generate proper responses.
  • Collaborate with internal departments (Sales, Engineering, Operations) to gather required information and clarify customer needs.
  • Maintain quote log and track quote status through CRM or ERP systems.
  • Follow up with customers regarding outstanding quotes, revisions, or additional information.
  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email with professionalism and accuracy.
  • Update customer records and documentation as needed.
  • Support general administrative tasks related to the customer service and quoting process.
  • Identify process improvements to streamline quoting operations and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Reception and call transfer.

Skills / Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2+ years of experience in customer service, sales support, or administrative roles—experience in manufacturing, aerospace, or industrial sectors a plus.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with ERP or CRM systems preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy is essential.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience reviewing technical documents or part specifications.
  • Familiarity with quoting or estimating processes in a service or manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of aerospace or industrial services terminology is a plus.
