Overview

Element has an opportunity for a Maintenance Technician who will support the Huntington Beach testing facility. The successful candidate will have a strong background in equipment maintenance providing a high level of troubleshooting maintenance issues in a safe and efficient manner.

 

Salary: $22- $28/hr DOE 

 

 

Responsibilities

The successful candidate for this position will be responsible for:

·       Proactively identify and address potential issues to minimize machine downtime and ensure continuous production

·       Perform advanced troubleshooting and diagnostics on testing & facilities equipment to quickly resolve maintenance issues and restore functionality

·       Develop and execute preventative maintenance schedules to ensure optimal performance and longevity of equipment in the department

·       Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections and preventative maintenance tasks

·       Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees

·       Conduct repairs on machinery to maintain operational efficiency

·       Support other facility repairs as needed

·       Manage spare parts inventory to ensure availability of critical components for timely repairs

·       Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance maintenance processes and machine reliability

·       High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in a related field

·       Minimum 3 years of experience in equipment maintenance (hydraulic equipment maintenance would be advantageous. e.g. replacing servo valves, piston seals, etc.)

·       Ability to read and interpret manuals and schematics

·       Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues on variety of equipment types

·       Excellent problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues

·       Strong commitment to safety protocols and guidelines

·       Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

·       Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly

·       Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement
