Overview

Element has an opportunity for a Mechanical Technician to join our growing team. This is a great opportunity to develop your career within a Global TIC business.

 

Salary: $25- $35/hr DOE 

 

Responsibilities

  • Interpretation of internal and client requirements
  • Supervising allocated staff and being responsible for the day to day management of the relevant discipline
  • Operating complex mechanical testing equipment
  • Maintaining accurate and systematic records
  • Performing other duties to fulfil the demands of the laboratory
  • Performing general duties in accordance with Element's internal procedures, quality as well as Health and Safety system
  • Application of instrumentation and the setting up of complex data capture equipment
  • Report writing, data interpretation and analysis

Skills / Qualifications

 

  • 15 plus years of operational experience with boilers / steam generators required
  • Ability to read and understand P & ID information
  • Maintain boiler chemistry, including testing and adjustments needed
  • Perform routine maintenance and unscheduled repairs, as needed
  • Must be available to work weekends and extended workdays, as required
