Overview

Element has an opening for a Temporary Lab Assistant position at our Bend, OR facility. The main responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to performing lab work supporting Extractable and Leachable (E&L) testing. The position requires working in a collaborative manner to support laboratory team members to accomplish organizational goals. The Lab Technician will also contribute to our continuous improvement initiatives such as 5S projects.

Responsibilities

  • Labware cleaning
  • Lab stocking
  • Standard and project disposal
  • Lab inventory checks
  • Perform general laboratory maintenance activities
  • Waste handling/management
  • Various laboratory support functions

Skills / Qualifications

  • HS Diploma, GED or Equivalent
  • The lab assistant is an entry-level position with responsibility to provide laboratory support functions. As a result, previous hands-on laboratory experience is preferred
  •  Key qualifications/skills: Strong organizational skills, Excellent communication abilities, Microsoft Office (Word/Excel) experience, Good time management skills, Positive team oriented attitude
