Overview

Element has an opportunity for a dynamic Sales Manager to join our team. As the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing sales and business development across testing labs and onsite support teams.

This is a key role in our Aerospace and Energy business unit, you will lead and drive growth initiatives across non-destructive testing (NDT) supporting key customers.

Candidates must live in the Midwest region.

 

Responsibilities

  • Work seamlessly with Customers, VP of Sales, Division Directors, General Managers, Lab Managers, account owners, and Marketing team on all aspects of selling as required
  • Develop, maintain and evolve laboratory sales plans aligned to budget attainment
  • Drive discipline in the mandatory usage of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system
  • Develop and execute on sales strategy
  • Lead quotation reviews and drive robust opportunity management
  • Lead contract management activities and ensure alignment with risk management / DoA
  • Conduct monthly Account reviews
  • Works alongside General Manager / Division Directors in target setting; new and existing account development, tendering and forecast development
  • Work alongside peers in other sectors and territories to develop and nurture a One Element approach

Skills / Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 year sales or supply chain experience in laboratory or aerospace / space / defense business
  • Supply Chain or Sales Management experience, leading a team of professionals
  • Preferred degree in engineering or MBA
  • Self-motivated team player with excellent organizational skills
  • Possess exceptional communication skills
  • Strong background with presentations and Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Must live in the Midwest region
  • Must thrive in a fast pace high growth environment 
  • Must be willing to travel- 50%
  • Must be a US Citizen
