Overview

Element has an opportunity for a Test Technician Intern to work in its Vibration, Mechanical and Environmental Testing Lab performing shock and vibration testing. Ideally we are seeking someone outgoing who is interested in gaining a wide variety of knowledge from multiple fields of engineering. This is a hands-on position. You will roll up your sleeves and must know how to use hand and power tools.

 

Salary: $20- $20/hr DOE 

 

Responsibilities

  • Setup and Run Vibration tests
  • Set up and run Environmental tests and Mechanical tests
  • Data collection utilizing control systems and accelerometers
  • Troubleshooting test set ups
  • Operating Vibration Controllers
  • Electrical set ups
  • Reporting

Skills / Qualifications

  • Must be able to operate hand/power tools
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent computer skills required; intermediate knowledge level of
  • Microsoft Excel experience is required
