Element has an opportunity for a Test Technician to join our rapidly expanding team. As a member of the operations team in one of the various laboratories across Element, the Test Technician position performs a variety of routine and non-routine testing assignments within the department assigned and insures timely and accurate test results under direct supervision.  The technician positions must be proficient in a number of core business skills including but not limited to compliance to established safety rules, code of conduct, and company policies and procedures.

Salary: $25- $30/hr DOE 

- Perform environmental simulation tests, including: 

• Temperature/Humidity 
• Thermal Shock 
• Salt Spray 
• Shock & Vibration 
• Highly Accelerated Life Testing (HALT) 
• Ingress Protection (IP) 
• Packaging Testing 
• Acceleration and Altitude Testing 

- Accurately document and support test reporting for internal records and client deliverables. 

- Contribute to lab organization, cleanliness, and safety in alignment with 5S and OSHA safety protocols. 

- Interact professionally with clients during witnessed testing events. 

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision throughout the day. 
• Strong self-management: understands daily priorities and completes tasks without needing frequent direction. 
• Proficient in reading and interpreting customer specifications and applying them to test procedures. 
• Capable of learning to set up and perform a wide range of tests under the guidance of Senior/Principal Technicians/Operations Manager. 
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and communication abilities.
