Overview

Element has an excellent opportunity for a Marketing Assistant to join our team, either based at Birchwood Park Warrington or High Wycombe Laboratory.

 

This entry-level marketing role provides essential support to the Marketing Director and Marketing Managers in executing marketing activities and campaigns.

 

The successful person will assist in implementing both traditional and digital marketing initiatives while learning industry best practices. This position plays a key role in day-to-day marketing operations, helping to maintain brand consistency and contribute to the department's success in driving customer engagement, lead generation and business growth.

 

 

 

 

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the execution of email marketing campaigns, including list management, content uploads, and scheduling
  • Support social media activities by drafting content, scheduling posts, and monitoring engagement metrics
  • Liaise with design agencies to coordinate the development of marketing materials and ensure timely delivery
  • Help compile and generate marketing performance reports using data from various platforms
  • Maintain marketing calendars and assist in coordinating deadlines for campaigns and content
  • Support event coordination, including logistics, materials preparation, and post-event follow-up
  • Update content on the company websites and assist with basic content management tasks
  • Organize and maintain digital assets such as images, logos, and marketing collateral in centralized libraries
  • Assist in the distribution of press releases and media communications
  • Support the creation of presentations for internal and external audiences
  • Monitor industry directory listings and ensure company information is current and accurate
  • Perform basic market research to support campaign development
  • Assist with proofreading and quality assurance of marketing materials
  • Track marketing inventory and coordinate ordering of promotional items

 

Skills / Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred
  • 0-2 years of experience in a marketing role (internships acceptable)
  • Basic understanding of digital marketing principles
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Experience with social media platforms in a professional context
  • Familiarity with email marketing platforms is a plus
