If so, this is the job for you in order to become a key player in Safety, Health & Environment at Element Metech in Denmark.

Element Metech in Denmark is looking for an engaged SHE Coordinator to play a key role in implementing, maintaining, and developing our local SHE programs. This includes risk assessments, audits, training, and documentation to ensure compliance and continuous improvement in workplace safety.

You will coordinate across and work closely with our QA team and Operations team to maintain high safety and quality standards across all processes. The role reports to the functional SHE manager in the Element Metech Division but with a key partner role to the Danish Leadership Team and involves collaboration across multiple locations.

Your responsibilities cover the following:

• Act as a safety resource for labs and management across sites in order to uphold safety and quality standards
• Facilitate safety committees, promote SHE awareness and a strong safety culture through communication and engagement
• Develop and implement SHE programs per regulations including related safety training and onboarding
• Coordinate compliance checks and conduct risk assessments, audits, and safety evaluations with internal stakeholders as well as with suppliers and authorities
• Monitor incidents and enforce corrective actions, acting as driver in major incident investigations and reporting
• Track SHE performance via KPIs and improvement initiatives

• Educational background or certification in workplace safety, health, or environmental management
• 1-2 years of experience in a SHE, safety, or occupational health function – preferably within a technical or laboratory-oriented environment
• Knowledge of national and international safety regulations and SHE management systems
• Structured and analytical mindset with a strong ability to handle compliance and risk assessments
• Strong communication skills in both Danish and English – ability to convey safety messages clearly
• Proactive, solution-oriented, and able to work independently as well as in teams
