  • Overview

    Element has an opportunity for a Machinist to join our growing team. This is a great opportunity to develop your career within the aerospace testing industry. The Saw Operator will be responsible for the precision cutting of testing specimens and other related material.


    • Review and interpret written work instructions
    • Use saw to cut test specimens according to prescribed spec or work order
    • Interpret basic blueprints and drawings
    • Accurately use basic measuring devices, including tape measure, caliper, and micrometer
    • Utilize basic hand tools, including wrenches and clamps

    Skills / Qualifications

    • High School diploma or equivalent preferred
    • Prior machine shop experience preferred
    • Recent NTMA enrollees or graduates encouraged to apply

    This position requires access to export-controlled commodities, technical data, technology, software, and services. U.S. citizenship, U.S. legal permanent resident status, protected person status under 8 U.S.C. § 1324b(a)(3), or U.S. Government export authorization is required. Any offer of employment is contingent upon the employer obtaining the necessary export authorization, including, if required, an export license from the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Bureau of Industry and Security, the U.S. Department of State’s Office of Defense Trade Controls, or other applicable government agency.
